About the Course
Whether you intend to fly for a career or for fun, it all starts here. This course will train and certify you to fly aircraft for personal use (not for hire) around town or across the country. Don't own a plane? Holding this license allows you to rent aircraft for use. Skip the stoplights, broaden your horizons, and learn to fly.
Course Overview
Prerequisites:
Hold a current medical certificate
Be at least 16 years of age
Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
Course Requirements:
Log the following:
(100) hours of powered aircraft, (50) hours must be in airplanes
(50) hours of cross-country time, (10) of which must be in an airplane
(10) hours of complex or TAA
Pass a written and flight exam (checkride)
