Instrument Rating
About The Course
Earn your Instrument Rating at AIRO's Kansas City flight school, based out of Wheeler Downtown Airport. This certification trains you to fly by reference to instruments alone under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) — the skill set that keeps you flying safely through clouds, haze, and the low-visibility days that ground Visual Flight Rules (VFR) pilots. Our Kansas City instructors will take you from your first simulated approach through your checkride, all from our downtown airport location.
