About The Course

This certification qualifies you to teach students to fly rotorcraft using Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) — a specialized skill set that opens doors with EMS operators, utility companies, and charter services looking for instrument-rated helicopter instructors.

Course Overview

Prerequisites:

  • Hold a Commercial Pilot License

  • Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language


Course Requirements:

There are no minimum flight hours. You will train to pass the required tasks:  

  • One - two written exams

  • Checkride
