About The Course
This certification qualifies you to teach helicopter students to fly using Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) at AIRO’s Kansas City flight school. It’s one of the rarer, more sought-after rotorcraft instructor credentials — valuable for pilots building hours toward EMS, corporate, or airline careers.
Course Overview
Prerequisites:
Hold a Commercial Pilot License
Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
Course Requirements:
There are no minimum flight hours. You will train to pass the required tasks:
One - two written exams
